Announcing Plans and Schedules – Talking about Timetables

Hello! Today we're learning how to express our plans and appointments in German. This skill is very useful in daily conversations and will make your communication much more fluent.

To ask about someone's plans, the most common phrase is Was machst du am Wochenende? (What are you doing on the weekend?). To state your own plans, you can use Ich habe vor... (I plan to...). For example, Ich habe vor, ins Kino zu gehen. (I plan to go to the cinema.)

When making appointments, you should know the word Termin (appointment). To ask about the time, say Wann treffen wir uns? (When do we meet?). As a response, you might say, for instance, Um achtzehn Uhr (At eighteen o'clock / 6 PM). Practice these phrases, and you'll see how quickly it becomes easier!
