How Adjectives are Used in German

We'll cover German adjectives (Adjektive), which describe nouns like "good" or "big." Adjectives are used in two main ways. After a verb, as in Das Auto ist schön. (The car is beautiful), schön remains unchanged. However, before a noun, like ein schönes Auto (a beautiful car), its ending changes. This is Deklination, adapting to the noun's gender, case, and number. Adjectives change when preceding a noun. Practice makes perfect!
