The Accusative Case (Whom/What)

Hi everyone! Today, we're covering the Accusative case in German. It identifies the noun directly affected by an action, answering "whom?" or "what?". For example, in "Ich sehe das Buch" (I see the book), "Buch" is Accusative.

The main change: masculine article der becomes den (e.g., "Ich sehe den Mann"). Feminine (die), neuter (das), and plural (die) articles stay the same. Verbs like haben (to have) and sehen (to see) often require Accusative. Crucially, der changes to den!
